Terms of Service

By using Diaz SMS you agree to these terms. This is a self-hosted SMS gateway operated by Diaz Agents. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

Diaz SMS lets you send and receive SMS through an Android phone that you control. The phone is the gateway; this server coordinates it. You are responsible for the handset, its SIM, and the carrier plan behind it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages, or anything that violates carrier rules or local law.
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or deceive anyone.
• Send illegal content, or content you do not have the right to send.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts.
• Resell access without a separate written agreement.

Carrier filtering and local regulations apply to every message you send. Repeated complaints or abuse reports may result in suspension.

Your account and keys

• An API key is an account-wide credential. Anyone holding it can send from your devices and read your messages.
• Keep keys secret. You are responsible for activity performed with them.
• Revoke a key immediately if it may have leaked.

Message delivery

Delivery is performed by your carrier and is not guaranteed. Messages can be delayed, filtered, or lost. This instance is configured without push notifications, so outbound messages may wait up to roughly 30 minutes before the phone collects them.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue it, and we are not liable for missed messages, lost revenue, or consequential damages arising from its use.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend access for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
